A non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace called Magic Eden has joined with Web3 payment service MoonPay to provide customers new payment alternatives when purchasing digital collectibles.
A news statement states that customers of Magic Eden can purchase NFTs from different chains using a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. This strategic alliance aims to streamline the process for new users joining their platform.
According to Magic Eden’s chief operating officer Zhuoxun Yin, “Our goal is to make NFTs available to everyone, enabling people to own and govern their digital assets.”
This month, MoonPay and NFT marketplace LooksRare partnered to allow platform users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies through MoonPay, allowing them to buy NFTs using credit cards.

In November 2021, the firm raised $555 million, allowing it to continue forming strategic alliances. In order to demonstrate compliance with regional anti-money laundering laws, MoonPay also overcame a regulatory barrier in December by obtaining registration with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) of the United Kingdom.
